Tactical handgun courses will require a serviceable handgun and holster rig. It is strongly recommended that the holster be worn on a belt that passes through the belt loops of trousers. A spare magazine and magazine pouch is also recommended. Flimsy nylon holsters can be problematic when reholstering. A stiff leather or Kydex holster will suffice. Retention straps and or devices can also get in the way. The entire West Coast Tactical staff uses and endorses Blade Tech holsters and magazine pouches.

Shotguns shall be equipped with a sling or carry strap.

Low light courses will require a powerful hand held flash light. We fully endorse SureFire combat lights, however other brands will suffice.

Ammunition requirements for Level One Tactical Handgun is 250 - 300 rounds. 400 - 450 rounds for Level Two Tactical Handgun. Bring extra ammo! Snap caps (dummy rounds) will also be needed.

Ammunition requirements for tactical shotgun is 150 - 200 rounds of birdshot, 20 rounds of buckshot, and 20 slugs. Snap caps (dummy rounds) will also be needed.

Ear and eye protection must be worn on the range at all times. Safety glasses and hearing protection are available for use.

Please contact us about your equipment needs.
